Meet Robert A. Weinstein, DDS, MS
After graduating from Northwestern University Dental School in 1968, Dr. Weinstein went on to four more years of additional specialty training at Loyola University and Affiliated Hospitals in Chicago, where he received his Master's Degree in 1973. He has practiced over 30 years in the specialty of Oral, Maxillofacial and Surgery, having gained extensive expertise in dental alveolar surgery, particularly in wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, general anesthesia, IV sedation, TMJ, facial trauma, reconstructive and cosmetic jaw surgery. Also, Dr. Weinstein has received extensive education and training in minimally invasive facial cosmetic surgery.

He has lectured extensively on surgical procedures, case management and dental implantology in various regions of the United States, as well as internationally. He is a published author in professional journals and has held licenses to practice in Illinois, Colorado, Texas, Guam, the Common Wealth of Northern Mariana Islands and Jamaica.
Known for being great with people, Dr. Weinstein is able to speak at least a few phrases in 20 languages. He is happily married with six children, and when he's not practicing dentistry, he enjoys scuba diving, sailing and golf.

Dr. Weinstein has a highly trained and qualified staff, ready to make your experience in our Dallas or Valley Ranch offices pleasant and comfortable. The surgical assistants, aestheticians and professional office team are committed to providing the best care possible for our patients. Our team is handpicked and made up of a group of people who have chosen this specialized area of patient care because they love it. Going to work each day is fun, not a chore, when you love what you do. Each member of our clinical staff has been trained in basic life support, advanced cardiac life support, infection control and sterilization technique, as well as dental radiography. All clinical team members hold the proper certifications from the State of Texas.
In an effort to provide the best accommodations possible, our team speaks English, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, Russian and Farsi.

What is your favorite thing about oral surgery?
I have held every position in the oral surgery practice except for the one of surgeon! On thing that I love, which always stays the same no matter what area I’m working in, is having the ability to create a positive experience for a patient who is scared, in pain with a toothache and expecting the worst. Having people respond to their treatment with a smile and a good experience is very fulfilling.
What is your favorite thing about working with Dr. Weinstein?
Dr. Weinstein is very particular about his surgery, but he also loves to have fun at work. You will often find him singing to a patient or discussing a common interest like old friends. Dr. Weinstein’s genuine interest in the people who are his patients is something I love.
What I love about our patients…
Our patients choose us. Many of them have been referred to us by their dentist or by a friend or family member who was our patient also. Their expectations are high and we are given the opportunity to exceed them every day. I love that we have earned their trust, confidence and support which shows when they make a personal referral to us. We have the best patients in DFW!

Oral surgery can change lives. If a patient feels pain or is missing teeth, he can be benefited by a trip to the oral surgeon. Our oral surgery office can help a patient through their procedure and help them achieve a positive experience.
What is your favorite thing about working with Dr. Weinstein?
I enjoy watching Dr. Weinstein interact with all of our patients. He has a way of putting them at ease. He can speak to patients in their own languages most of the time. He is a people person who genuinely likes and is concerned about his patients.
What I love about our patients…
I love to see our patients’ expressions when their surgery is over and they tell me that it wasn’t bad at all. Everyone dreads oral surgery, but they all have good experiences. I enjoy the cultural differences within the community. It is enjoyable to see the best in people and help them achieve their dental goals.
