Dr. Robert A. Weinstein

Meet Robert A. Weinstein, DDS, MS

After graduating from Northwestern University Dental School in 1968, Dr. Weinstein went on to four more years of additional specialty training at Loyola University and Affiliated Hospitals in Chicago, where he received his Master's Degree in 1973, as well as qualification for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has practiced over 30 years in the specialty of Oral, Maxillofacial and Surgery, having gained extensive expertise in dental alveolar surgery, particularly in wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, general anesthesia, IV sedation, TMJ, facial trauma, reconstructive and cosmetic jaw surgery. Also, Dr. Weinstein has received extensive education and training in minimally invasive facial cosmetic surgery.

He has lectured extensively on surgical procedures, case management and dental implantology in various regions of the United States, as well as internationally. He is a published author in professional journals and has held licenses to practice in Illinois, Colorado, Texas, Guam, the Common Wealth of Northern Mariana Islands and Jamaica.

Known for being great with people, Dr. Weinstein is able to speak at least a few phrases in 20 languages. He is happily married with six children, and when he's not practicing dentistry, he enjoys scuba diving, sailing and golf.

Dr. Afshin RezvaniMeet Afshin Rezvani, DDS, MD

Dr. Afshin Rezvani comes to us from Kings County Hospital in New York, New York.  He completed his undergraduate education, cum laude, at the University of Maryland continuing at this same school to receive his dental degree four years later.  He subsequently completed a year of general practice residency at Harvard Medical and Dental School in 1996.  He earned his medical degree form the State University of New York in 2002 and completed a year of General Surgery training at Kings County Hospital in 2003.  Dr. Rezvani completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Training at Kings County Hospital in 2005. Dr. Rezvani brings with him a wealth of expertise and experience as well as enthusiasm and a passion for the art of surgery. He is committed to providing exceptional patient care and attention to each individual's needs through personal and attentive treatment.

Dr. Weinstein has a highly trained and qualified staff, ready to make your experience in our Dallas or Valley Ranch offices pleasant and comfortable. The surgical assistants, aestheticians and professional office team are committed to providing the best care possible for our patients. Our team is handpicked and made up of a group of people who have chosen this specialized area of patient care because they love it. Going to work each day is fun, not a chore, when you love what you do. Each member of our clinical staff has been trained in basic life support, advanced cardiac life support, infection control and sterilization technique, as well as dental radiography. All clinical team members hold the proper certifications from the State of Texas.

Dena Rathbun, RDA, Office Coordinator

Dena is the office coordinator, responsible for the organization and efficiency of the office operations.  Dena has over 15 years experience in medical office operations. Dena has completed all state required certifications and registrations and is also an ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) provider. She has participated in advanced surgical assisting training through the ICOI. Dena specializes in education of the public about the services offered in our office.  You may find her demonstrating treatments at your employers’ health fair, writing an informational article about a specific treatment or attending a Chamber of Commerce event. 

Soonja Weinstein, Public Relations Coordinator

Soonja holds a very special position in the office, maintaining relationships with the community and specializing in personal patient care with the large population of Korean patients that we treat. Soonja is multilingual, speaking English, Korean, Japanese and Hebrew. Soonja is very active in the community and spends her free time volunteering within the community. Soonja has over twenty years’ experience in customer service and personnel management.

Regina Okhman, Patient Coordinator, BS

Gina is the patient coordinator and insurance expert. Gina has over 20 years’ experience in the medical/dental office. She specializes in treatment planning, insurance processing and coordinating surgery appointments. Gina is fluent in Russian. She has extensive knowledge of business office operations and maintains all patient accounts with expertise and efficiency. Gina has a special talent for taking care of patients’ needs. Her positive and practical attitude makes her well-liked by our patients and staff alike.

Debbie Bowman

Debbie is a patient coordinator in our North Dallas location. With over 20 years experience in the medical/dental office, Debbie has valuable insight and understanding when it comes to things like scheduling, insurance coverage and organization. Debbie is always kind and caring to our patients. She is ready to help in any way that she can.

Sarah Park

Sarah is a patient coordinator in our Las Colinas office. Sarah is an expert at helping patients with scheduling appointments, filing insurance claims and making our patients feel welcome and comfortable. Sarah has a special talent for graphic design and manages all of our practices photographic records. As a Korean-American, Sarah acts as a liaison and interpreter for our Korean-speaking patients. When you call or come in to the office, Sarah is sure to greet you by name and with a friendly smile.

Irina Korenvayn

Irina is a patient coordinator in our Las Colinas office. Irina has worked in the dental/medial field for several years and has become an expert on solving insurance problems. Irina’s warm and caring personality shows in all that she does. Whether in person or over the phone, Irina is always going to provide you with professional, friendly and caring service. Irina is also bilingual, helping to make our Russian-speaking patients feel comfortable.

Wendy Lauren, RDA, Surgical Technician

Wendy is the coordinating surgical technician for both offices. Her talents include organization, preparation for surgical procedures and exceptional patient care and efficiency. Wendy assists in all oral, maxillofacial and cosmetic procedures and has many years of experience in this field. Wendy holds all certifications required by the State of Texas, is ACLS certified.

Megan Hammond

Megan is an experienced surgical assistant. She has a great personality and always seems happy. Her positive attitude shines through in all that she does. Megan is a registered dental assistant and maintains an active BLS certification.

Theresa Bezdek

Theresa is an experienced surgical assistant with a strong background in oral, maxillofacial and facial cosmetic surgery. Theresa has an upbeat attitude and is ready for anything. She is very organized and competent, always prepared for the day. Theresa is a registered dental assistant and maintains an active BLS certification.
