How does Dr. Weinstein keep up-to-date on all of the current techniques and materials?Dr. Weinstein is a member of numerous professional organizations and actively attends professional meetings. He is a big believer in continuing education, even after over 30 years’ experience. Dr. Weinstein engages in over 200 hours of continuing education programs per year. He is also an accredited provider of continuing education for fellow dental professionals and holds continuing education courses several times per year. |

What are the payment options?
We have a number of options available All major credit cards are accepted, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. For those who qualify, CareCredit is available which provides a loan with 0% interest for up to 12 months. Citi Health Card is also another payment option.
Do you accept my insurance plan?
Dr. Weinstein is a participating provider for a number of insurance plans. We are happy to help you with your claims process.

Do you accept referrals?
Yes we do. To us, referring a family member or friend to our Oral and Maxillofacial practice is the highest compliment you can give us. Thank you! We always look forward to providing the same excellent care and service to people you know.
Will I be charged if I need to cancel an appointment?
Yes, you will be charged $75 if you cancel an appointment without giving us 24-hour notice.

What do I do if I have an emergency when the office is closed?We understand dental emergencies happen. Dr. Weinstein carries a 24-hour pager and is always accessible. Call our office number to hear the emergency number you need to call, and Dr. Weinstein will get back to you right away. |
My child has had an accident and his or her tooth has been entirely knocked out. What should I do?
Contact the doctor's office immediately. If this occurs during off-hours, contact Dr. Weinstein using his pager. If possible, place your child's tooth in a cup of milk as the calcium from the milk will continue nourishing the tooth. There is a chance we may be able to restore your child's tooth.

What precautions do you take to ensure patient safety?
Our team attends regular continuing education on the topics of infection control, sterilization technique, aseptic technique and patient safety. As safety is our primary concern, Dr. Weinstein requires that his team goes above and beyond what is required by law. All clinical team members are ACLS certified (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) in addition to being certified in Basic Life Support. The sterilization of instruments is carried out in a careful manner, all instruments bagged and sealed until used. The office is kept clean and disinfected at all times.
Patient safety is extremely important. It is in fact, the most important thing that we do. All patients health histories are carefully reviewed and discussed. Medications lists and allergies are taken into consideration. Patients are monitored carefully using state of the art equipment before, during and after anesthesia. Records are kept meticulously. Treatment is reviewed with the patient in detail before beginning. Everything that we do in our Dallas and Las Colinas offices comes down to the primary purpose which is to provide SAFE and EFFECTIVE surgical care.

I really don't like visiting the dentist. Is there anything you can do to help me relax?
We are here to make your experience as stress-free as possible. You will never feel rushed or herded, but instead will have individualized care. For many people who are apprehensive, we recommend general anesthesia as this allows them to go to sleep, waking up when the procedure is complete. We also provide nitrous oxide, known as laughing gas, that allows you to stay awake during the procedure, but in a very relaxed state.
