Where are my Wisdom Teeth?
Otherwise known as third molars, your wisdom teeth are your last set to erupt, typically around the age of 17-21 years old. They’re located at the very back of your mouth behind your first two molars. There are usually four of them, however not everyone has wisdom teeth, or they may have only one or two.
Why Do my Wisdom Teeth Need to be Removed?
If your wisdom teeth are positioned correctly and your mouth has enough space to accommodate them, they may not need to be removed. Most patients however, either don’t have enough room for them, or may not be able to keep them clean, which means they may cause crowding or other problems for your existing teeth.
